Before and after 2002
Four cases show when the limitation corridor of Article 229 § 6 EGBGB applies. The model does not execute law before 2002: the old period and its starting point are inputs, not a reconstruction of the former substantive law.

- limitation period under the Civil Code as in force until 31 December 2001 (e.g. § 195 old version: thirty years)
- limitation period under the Civil Code as in force since 1 January 2002 (e.g. § 195: three years) — case input in the pilot, from de.bgb.fristen in wave B2
